Myla had her first visit to her doctor and she weighs 4 lbs 11 oz. And the way she keeps eating we'll have to get 2nd jobs to keep up with her. ;o) Only kidding, but she does eat very well. We watched the Broncos barely beat the Vikings tonight eventhough Myla slept through most of it, she's been initiated. Maybe she'll be a 49er fan when she's old enough to decide.
It's hard to think of what all is going on with us other than enjoying our baby girl being home. We have to finish finding a good place to store all the newborn diapers the hospital gave her, they're too big right now, and fit into our busy baby-loving schedule with grocery shopping, work and the dog..... we're swamped! Kara goes to work tomorrow so it's daddy-daughter time all day long. Myla will be sick of me by Tuesday. It's hard for me to leave her in the bassinet the whole time while she sleeps, she's just so cute and I love to hold her but it's not a good habit for her to feel she can't fall asleep unless it's in our arms.
Me and Myla are going to have a grand time, when she's not asleep, and we'll have to tell mom all about it when we pick her up from the light-rail station. Haley-dog may even get a bigger doggy door in her shed, if I can do it without leaving Myla unattended for too long. The day is full of possibilities. Hope everyone has a great New Year's and we'll talk again in 2008!
