Our first day together went very well. Our first night did too. We took shifts and it worked out pretty good. We were told not to let Myla go more than four hours without eating, so we did have to wake her up twice to feed her. And once we did, she had no problems remembering that she was hungry. We spent most of the night listening to her sounds of grunting and mousy noises just learning them. The doctor said she looked super. She weighed in at 4 pounds 11 1/4 ounces, which is a pretty good gain since we last weighed her on Wednesday. It was a pretty easy appointment since she got her first round of shots in the hospital. We don't know how long she'll be on oxygen, but we go back next week for another weight check and we will ask then. All in all, we did pretty good, I think.
