Myla is home at last. She was discharged today with lots of love from the nurses. The discharge summary puts her weight at 4 pounds, 6.9 ounces and 16 1/8 inches. Right now, she is wrapped up in her bassinet with a clean diaper - courtesy of her dad believe it or not - and getting ready for some more food.
Tomorrow is the first trip to the pediatrician. A whole other adventure I'm sure. She will have an eye doctor appointment next week and there will be an oxygen level check on her at least once a week.
I have to admit, I'm a little nervous about her being home. She's still so small, but if we've heard anything the nurses told us over the past nine weeks its that she's a fighter. Of course, they also say she screams about three o'clock in the morning. I guess we'll put that line to the test tonight!
